A number of different documents have been created to describe the use and technical background of
HEC-HMS.

f1_c.gif  Quick Start Guide (CPD-74D) Provides help for users new to the program; includes a tutorial. f1_c.gif  User's Manual (CPD-74A) Description of the use and application of the program. f1_c.gif  Applications Guide (CPD-74C) Illustrates application of the program to studies typical of those
      undertaken by Corps’ offices. f1_c.gif  Technical Reference Manual (CPD-74B) Discussion of the technical underpinnings of the program
      including theoretical basis, parameter estimation techniques, and application suggestions. f1_c.gif  Release Notes Description of the changes that occurred at each new release including bug repairs,
      new capabilities, and changes in operation. f1_c.gif  Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) Documentation certifying that the software may be installed on
      Department of Defense (DOD) computer systems, subject to the limitations stated in the certificate. Old
      installations should be upgraded. f1_c.gif  Validation Guide Description of the validation testing procedures used to determine that the software is
      operating correctly during a numerical simulation. The project files used for testing are also available in a
      data kit. f1_c.gif  Additional Resources Other documents and reports related to the development or use of the program.
