The Corps Water Management System (CWMS) is the automated information system (AIS) of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers supporting the Corps' water management mission. CWMS runs on the Water Management Enterprise System (WMES) and provides data collection, processing, decision support modeling, data dissemination, and graphics tools for each local office to effectively execute the water management mission specific to their district/division.

WMES is also an AIS and is the integrated system of all the software (CWMS, database, COTS and open-source applications), hardware (servers, appliances and DCPs), communication resources and system's architecture used by the USACE Water Management Community of Practice (CoP) to perform the USACE real-time water management mission. WMES is designed with enterprise standards, whose base infrastructure is then built and managed by the USACE service provider, CIO/G6.

The purpose of this document is to summarize the accomplishments of the WMES and CWMS programs during Fiscal Year 2023 (FY23).
