COOP

Overview

Per ER 1110-2-240, Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) provides readiness for emergency relocation and reconstitution of a USACE activity as a result of either a natural or a man-made (caused) disaster. COOP has always been recognized as an essential aspect of USACE Water Management functions. Support for COOP has been a fundamental requirement in the Corps Water Management System (CWMS) since the initial design session in 1997.  

Accomplishments

As of the end of FY24, all district COOP setups have been completed. HEC has assisted districts in COOP testing and builds on an as needed basis.
