Overview
Per ER 1110-2-240, Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) provides readiness for emergency relocation and reconstitution of a USACE activity as a result of either a natural or a man-made (caused) disaster. COOP has always been recognized as an essential aspect of USACE Water Management functions. Support for COOP has been a fundamental requirement in the Corps Water Management System (CWMS) since the initial design session in 1997.
Accomplishments

Field Support and Technology Transfer
Team members supported the field in COOP setups, assisting when issues arose. Team members also participated in monthly COOP meetings with district staff to provide best practices and help solve issues.
