Project management efforts in FY25 included the following key activities:

  • Developing and maintaining the Project Management Plan (PMP)
  • Coordinating and documenting quarterly CURG and AG meetings
  • Tracking ERC obligations and expenditures and reporting monthly to IWR and HQ USACE leadership
  • Reporting current and future budget and project plans in the OMB Folio system
  • Supporting various DoD and USACE CECI requirements, including:
    • Preparing and presenting at the Investment Review Board (IRB)
    • Responding to CECI data calls
    • Participating in CECI meetings

To support task tracking and accountability, the team continued using Jira to manage activities for the CWMS and WMES programs. Major work areas were organized into Epics, with corresponding tasks and subtasks aligned with the PMP. Team members logged hours and tracked progress throughout the year. This data was regularly reviewed in team meetings to monitor progress, ensure alignment with goals, and evaluate whether funding adjustments were needed between tasks as work progressed.
