Importing and Exporting SHEF Data

Importing and exporting SHEF data is no longer supported in HEC-DSSVue.

To import and export SHEF data to/from HEC-DSS files:

• Use the python3 packages 

  • package	installation
    hecdss	pip install --upgrade hecdss
    shef-parser	pip install --upgrade shef-parser

• See the User Guide for Package shef-parser

Sensor and parameter files from previous versions of HEC-DSSVue can be used with the shef-parser package
