Explore the "Combine TINs" selection options.

There are three available options that determine how TINs are combined within the HEC-MetVue Map Window.

  1. Temporally: this option aggregates datasets over different timespans that have the same approximate location.
Example: Determining precipitation event totals from a single gridded dataset.
  2. Spatially: this option combines multiple datasets with varying extents within the map window.
Example: Importing data from two different River Forecast Centers whose extents are different, but both include portions (but not all) of your watershed.
  3. Both: this option adds multiple datasets with varying extents and aggregates their values within the map window.
Example: Determining precipitation event totals from multiple gridded datasets with varying extents.

Examples of all three options will be explored throughout the Tasks in Part A.
