The map panel is used to display a map of the watershed. The map within the dashboard takes on the same characteristics as the map displayed in the CAVI under the modeling tab when the map panel is created. You can customize this map as much as the main window. Once the panel is created, modifications to the map within the CAVI do not relay to the map within the dashboard. Within the dashboard, some properties can be modified by right clicking the map panel tab (in Figure 1, it is denoted as "Map Panel 1"), then select properties and a property editor window will pop up. In the property editor window, you can change the tab name, the map panel name and the zoom coordinates. Each of this can be edited by selecting the ellipses on on the right of the "value" cell. The zoom can also be modified using the magnifying glass on the left side of the panel or using a mouse scroll wheel.
