HEC-RTS Version 3.2.3 has been enhanced from HEC-RTS Version 3.2.1, with several error fixes and modifications. Following are the new features provided in Version 3.2.3: 

  • Updated Analysis Software. Version 3.2.3 includes the latest version: HEC-HMS – 4.8; HEC-ResSim – 3.5 Dev; HEC-RAS – 6.1; HEC-FIA - 3.2.2; HEC-MetVue 3.2; and, DSS-Vue 3.2.2.
  • HEC-RAS New Capabilities. New capabilities included in version 6.1 are spatial precipitation and infiltration for 2D, SA, and XS; bridge hydraulics inside of 2D flow areas; 1D finite volume solver; wind forces to HEC-RAS 1D and 2D; computation speed impoverishment for 2D; DSS-7; enhancements to pump stations in 22D areas; new breach time series plot; 3D graphics/animations; new turbulance methods; Water quality computations; and more which can be found in more detail here with bug fixes resolved in HEC-RAS 6.1 can be found here.
  • HEC-MetVue (Meteorological Visualization Utility). HEC-MetVue facilitates viewing and manipulation of meteorological datasets as well as performing a variety of computations and analyses, including temporal and spatial aggregation of datasets and areal average computations. The software provides tools for animating datasets, trimming spatial extents of datasets, applying spatial translations and rotations to datasets, and applying temporal shifts to datasets.
  • HEC-FIA New Capabilities. New capabilities included in version 3.2.2 are Add Levee Reduction Factor to Storage Areas; Delete Storage Areas in Storage Area Table Editor; Edit Structure Globally; and Base Year Disappearing from Adjusted Price Index.
