In FY24, the team will continue to progress towards transitioning to the CWBI cloud in order to meet the deadline of moving off of the CPC/WPC by March 2025. Additionally, the team will continue to work towards the CWMS Cloud Migration MVP Plan.
The FY24 focus areas are:
Continue the HEC/CRREL collaboration on CWMS Cloud Migration in the CWBI environment.
Continue to maintain and improve Cumulus for web-based service approaches.
Work on direct CWMS data acquisition in CWBI.
Make CAVI-RTS usable within CWBI in a client server format, which includes replacing RMI calls with http calls.
Design a Model Library in CWBI.
Develop initial implementations of Cloud Compute in CWBI.
Continue to improve CWMS-Data-API (CDA) performance and usability.
Work on LDM cloud implementation in the CWBI development and production environments.
Work on initial cloud implementation of OpenDCS in CWBI.
Work on advancing the LRL pilot implementation in CWBI.
