Bug Fixes and Testing (CWMS 3.5)
The team will work to fix bugs as they are identified throughout the year.
MMC Monthly Working Sessions
The MMC hosts monthly working sessions on the CWMS Modeling Group within Microsoft Teams, allowing HEC-RAS modelers to get support from experts. The team will continue to participate in these meetings, as they have proven valuable to the field. These sessions are a valuable way to provide field support, answer questions, and demonstrate important capabilities of the software to attendees.
Field Support
The team will continue to provide field support to the water management community on an as-needed basis. This effort will focus on getting water managers comfortable with running HEC-RAS and with setting up HEC-RAS to produce the necessary outputs for use in HEC-FIA when computing Flood Damages Reduced.
Development of New Tutorials
New tutorials will be developed by the team as needs are identified.
Plan for Integration of HEC-RAS 2025 in the CAVI
The HEC-RAS team is focused on the development of the next generation of HEC-RAS (HEC-RAS 2025). Part of this year's activities include developing a plan for the integration of the next generation of HEC-RAS into the CAVI.
