How to download an executable file from HEC Drive
Click link to file.
Select the "Open File" option NOT "Download".
Navigate to the location to save the file (BE SURE TO SAVE IT IN A LOCATION YOU HAVE WRITE-ACCESS and not your user area, or it won't run. Recommended: C:/Programs). Save the file with no extension (e.g., "YETr0az6").
Navigate to the location with the saved file (e.g., C:/Programs). Add the "exe" extension to the downloaded file.
Right-click on the file and select 7-Zip to extract the file. Please contact your ACE-IT or IT Administrator to install 7-Zip if the program is not on your computer.
You now have the HEC-ResSim software (e.g., HEC-ResSim-3.5.0.394):
Inside the folder, double-click the HEC-ResSim.exe to open the program.
