The Auto-Recompute tool can be enabled and or disabled. This tool is enabled by default so that the hypothetical storm is automatically recomputed to reflect user edits, in particular moving or rotating the storm to a new position over the basin as illustrated in two figures below.
The first figure shows the original storm while the second shows the resulting optimized storm size and volumes due to changing the storm position over the basin.
If the Auto-Recompute button is disabled, any movement of the storm to a new position does not use the HMR52 plugin to optimize storm size or adjust for the new angle.
