Synchronized animation across multiple Map Windows is enabled when the user selects "All Maps" in the Dynamic Time Window Map Window Selector. When this selection is made, there are special rules in the data processing to support synchronized image display control.

  1. When the data loaded in multiple Map Windows have different time windows, the Dynamic Time Window Controls will have a date range encompassing the date ranges of each individual Map Window. For example, if a Session has two Map Windows, with the first Map Window having data between October 1st, 2025-October 31st, 2025 and the second Map Window having data between October 15th, 2025-November 15th, 2025, the Dynamic Time Window Controls will allow selecting dates from October 1st, 2025 through November 15th, 2025.
  2. When the data loaded into Multiple Map Windows have different time steps (i.e. the first Map Window has 1-hour data and the second Map Window has 6-hour data), the Dynamic Time Window minimum time step will be equal to the largest time step from the data across the Map Windows. In the example of two Map Windows, one Map Window with 1-hour and one Map Window with 6-hour grids, the minimum time step of the Dynamic Time Window Controls will be 6-hour.
  3. When the "All Maps" option is selected in the Dynamic Time Window Toolbar, and one or more Map Windows contain data that is incompatible with the Dynamic Time Window, those Map Windows will be excluded from the Dynamic Time Window Controls.
