HEC-MetVue allows for selection of Preferred Unit Aliases. This allows for the user to select the aliases they prefer, and set the default alias to be written into output data. An editor to alter the preferred alias can be accessed with the button highlighted in the first figure below. This will bring up the Preferred Unit Alias Editor shown in the second figure. A common alias to alter is the temperature units, which is shown in the third figure. The default alias for Farenheit is "F", but some users may prefer "Deg-F". An alias for any of these units may be changed with the drop-down selection in the second column of the table. These settings will be saved after clicking the "OK" button. Clicking "Cancel" will ignore all changes made in the dialog.
