HEC-RAS Version 6.0 now only supports 64-bit computational engines. The 64-bit computational engines can handle larger model data sets, and will also run faster than the 32-bit engines. Because of this, users are now required to have a 64 bit operating system installed on their machines. Version 6.0, and future versions of HEC-RAS, will no longer run on 32-bit operating systems.
