1. Click link to file.
  2. Select the "Open File" option NOT "Download".
    Select the OPEN FILE option.
  3. Navigate to the location to save the file (BE SURE TO SAVE IT IN A LOCATION YOU HAVE WRITE-ACCESS and not your user area, or it won't run.  Recommended:   C:/Programs/ResSim). 
    Save the file.
    Save the unedited filename to a write-access location (e.g., C:/Programs/ResSim)
  4. Navigate to the location with the saved file (e.g., C:/Programs/ResSim). Right-click on the file and select Extract All to extract the file.

    Right-click saved ZIP folder and select Extract All 
  5. Remove the filename from the path and click Extract.
    Simplify the destination path and select Extract.
  6. You now have the HEC-ResSim software.
    Double-click to open the extracted software folder.
  7. Inside the folder, right-click the HEC-ResSim.exe and select Pin to Start. Then double-click the EXE to open the program. Once open in the Taskbar, right-click and select Pin to taskbar.
    Right-click on the HEC-ResSim.exe to Pin to Start and/or double-click to Open the software to Pin to taskbar.
