Selecting Output Variables

Open the Output Variable editor in HEC-WAT and choose the simulation and model alternative for the output variables desired, then click Select Output Variables... to open the output variable selector window.


For the Fragility Curve plugin, output variables may be chosen for each structure that report:

  • Max Breach Elevation- the highest elevation sampled among the available failure modes.
  • Breach Elevation – the elevation sampled and provided as the output from the fragility curve plugin.
  • Computed PFM (potential failure mode) – an integer value that reports which of the failure modes were selected.
