HEC-LifeSim has been developed for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). However, software developed at the Hydrologic Engineering Center is made available to the public whenever appropriate. Use is not
restricted and individuals outside of the Corps of Engineers may use the program without charge. HEC will not provide user assistance or support for this software to non-USACE users. However, we will respond to
any reported software bugs. Downloading this software indicates full acceptance of your responsibility in the use of this program. Please see the distribution policy
for more details.
HEC-LifeSim version 1.0.1 is available as an install package (.exe) or as portable package (.zip). Both are easy to use and have the same content. The install package guides the user through the install process
and requires administrative rights for successful use. Installing with the portable package does not require administrative rights. Simply extract all contents of the portable package to the desired computer
location for HEC-LifeSim. Additional software requirements may be needed, a systems requirements document lists the additonal software that may need to be
installed. The executable file for HEC-LifeSim is entitled "HEC-LifeSim.exe".
