CWMS is a collection of software designed and assembled to assist Corps of Engineers water managers in making decisions regarding the release or storage of water and the operation of the various projects throughout their area of responsibility. This collection of software is separated into three groups:

  • Client Software
  • Modeling Software
  • Server and Database Software

The client and modeling software are combined into a single CWMS client package for installation on your PC. The server and database software are assembled into a separate package for installation on your CWMS Server.

CWMS 3.5 includes the following modeling client software versions:

CWMS 3.5.1 patch package is also available on the CWMS sharepoint for any USACE office that experiences loss of connectivity to the server via scripts due timing out of the connection pool. The time out issue is caused by a bug in the Oracle Universal Connection Pool (UCP) library and related Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) library. Most recent Oracle patches address the necessary update to the UCP and JDBC libraries on the server side. While on the client side, the updated UPC and JDBC libraries are also included in the CWMS3.5.1 package. No other updates or changes are included in the CWMS 3.5.1 patch release.

The following programs have been retired and are no longer part of the CAVI/RTS software package:
