There are several ways to open a DSS file from CWMS-Vue. One way is to type in the location and filename of the DSS file in the File Name box of the CWMS-Vue main window. After you have entered the correct information, press Enter, and the Pathname Table will display the pathnames of the selected DSS file, and the File Information box will display statistics about the DSS file.
Another way to open a DSS file is from the File menu, click Open Local DSS File. In addition, you could click from the Toolbar. Either method, opens an Open HEC-DSS File (Figure F.3) browser. The browser defaults to the CWMS working directory, which is viewable in the Folder field of the browser. If you are in the Model Interface Module and you have selected a forecast, the browser will default to the forecast directory. Locate the DSS file you wish to open, click OK. The Open File browser will close, and the CWMS-Vue main window will display the name of the DSS file, and all of the pathnames associated with that DSS file will appear in the Pathname Table.
