CWMS Version 3.2.1 has been enhanced from CWMS Version 3.1.1, with several error fixes and modifications. Following are the new features provided in Version 3.2.1:

  • Updated Analysis Software. Version 3.2.1 includes the latest version: HEC-HMS – 4.5; HEC-ResSim – 3.5 Dev; HEC-RAS – 5.0.7; HEC-FIA - 3.2; HEC-MetVue 3.1; and, CWMS-Vue 3.2.
  • HEC-RAS New Capabilities. New capabilities included in version 5.0.7 are enhancements to storage area/two-dimensional hydraulic connections; variable time step capabilities; internal boundary conditions lines for two-dimensional areas; new velocity term for two-dimensional area boundary conditions; ne RAS Mapper editing tools; new transport equation calibration and modification options and editor; variable sediment properties; lateral weir sediment connection to a two-dimensional area; quasi-unsteady internal stage boundary conditions; and, sediment parameters in the Rules Editor. Several issues were resolved for HEC-RAS version 5.0.6 in version 5.0.7 (refer to the HEC-RAS 5.0.7 Release Notes).
  • HEC-HMS New Capabilities. New capabilities included in version 4.5 are the addition of global temperature-index snow editors; model temperature-index wet-meltrate (time-variable); evaluate debris yield methods; addition of number of cores selections to the HEC-HMS user interface; a fix in the DSS pathname validation for the unit hydrograph paired data curves; a couple of fixes to the HEC-HMS Paired Data editor; and, a fix to some mod Clark grid cells where gird cells were missing or reduced in areas where the target projection differed from the basin model coordinate referencing system (refer to the HEC-HMS 4.5 Release Notes).
  • HEC-MetVue (Meteorological Visualization Utility). HEC-MetVue facilitates viewing and manipulation of meteorological datasets as well as performing a variety of computations and analyses, including temporal and spatial aggregation of datasets and areal average computations. The software provides tools for animating datasets, trimming spatial extents of datasets, applying spatial translations and rotations to datasets, and applying temporal shifts to datasets.
  • HEC-FIA New Capabilities. New capabilities included in version 3.2 are reporting of flood damage reduced.
  • HEC-ResSim New Capabilities. New capabilities included in version 3.5 are vertical datum support; global variables.
  • CWMS-Vue New Capabilities.  New capabilities included in version 3.2 are time series legacy; location levels; and, saving of scripts.
