The Model Actions widget allows you to add functionality to the Dashboard that can be found in the CAVI under the Actions tab. The drop-down menu includes the forecast alternatives associated with the forecast.

To add model actions to the tab, right-click below the drop-down menu within the panel and select Edit Actions. The Select Workflow Actions dialog will open, as shown below.

Select Workflow Actions Dialog

The dropdown menu on the left of the dialog separates the available model actions into categories. Generally, the drop-down options will be CWMS CAVI - Forecast, CWMS CAVI - Forecast Run, CWMS CAVI - Scripts, CWMS CAVI - Team, and then all models included in the forecast alternative selected.

  • CWMS CAVI - Forecast: options that would be found under the Forecast menu within the CAVI
  • CWMS CAVI - Forecast Run: options available by right-clicking on a forecast alternative within the CAVI (also within the Actions tab)
  • CWMS CAVI - Scripts: a list of scripts that have been added to the CAVI
  • CWMS CAVI - Team: allows you to download the team watershed
  • Model Name:  options are dependent upon the model selected

The dropdown menu on the left separates the forecast alternatives as well as an option for All Forecast Runs. If you move options under a specific forecast alternative, the Model Actions panel will only show the selected options when using that forecast alternative. When you place options under the All Forecast Runs option, they will be available for every forecast alternative. If there is overlap between the model actions under a forecast alternative and All Forecast Runs, it will show up only once. Additionally, the ordering of actions will follow the order of the forecast alternative actions first, and then the order of the "All Forecast Runs".  If there is overlap, the first instance of the model action will be the placement of the model action.
