Interacting with Model Alternatives

Setup Module

You can manipulate model alternatives within in the Setup Module. Right-click on a specific model alternative in the Watershed Pane and a shortcut menu will appear, containing options associated with that model alternative. 

Modeling Module

You can also interact with a specific forecast run’s model alternatives in the Modeling Module. When a forecast alternative is active, you can also access the individual model editors from the Forecast Run Details of the Modeling Module. Right-click on the active model and a shortcut menu will appear. The shortcut menu contains options associated with that model alternative. 

Schematic Elements

From the map window, you can access certain model editors from schematic elements on the display area. For example, if your active forecast run includes a HEC-ResSim model, on the display area you will see HEC-ResSim model elements, such as junctions and reservoirs. If you right-click on a model element, a shortcut menu will appear. For example, after right-clicking on a junction, click on Edit Properties and the Junction editor will open.
