A compute log is generated for each ensemble member within an ensemble forecast run. An additional log is generated for the Compute Manager itself. The compute log viewer for an ensemble forecast run allows the user to access the log for each computed ensemble member as well as the Compute Manager’s log.
The ensemble Compute Manager creates and manages a separate log file for each ensemble member and carries it through the staggered compute process. The Compute Log is available from the Reports tab as shown in the figure below.
From the Reports tab, click on the Compute Log… button.
The log for each specific ensemble member in the compute can be viewed if needed. From the File menu, click on Ensemble Member Logs and choose the member ID to view that specific log file.
