Post Groups

Post groups map the model alternative output data from the forecast.dss file to a destination location. The following destinations are supported:

• HEC-DSS file
• Remote HEC-DSS file located on a CWMS server
• CWMS Database
• WISKI database (KiWIS Post Group)

The Post Groups box within the Post Editor lists the defined post groups for a watershed. From the Post Groups box you can: create a post group; delete a post group; rename a post group; make a copy of a post group; select which post groups will run by default during the post process; and determine the order in which post groups will run in a post process. In addition, you can color code the post groups that will run by default.

Post groups are run in the order they are displayed in the Post Groups box. If you run more than one group during the post process with multiple data sets that are mapped to the same record in the destination file, the last post group will replace all data posted previously within that record.
