The Locations to Compute Metrics Tab allows you to select the output locations for the Ensemble Forecast Processor. Add rows in the table to add multiple locations to compute the selected metrics (selected on the Cumulative Volume Scalar Decision Metrics Tab). Metrics will be computed at all locations.
Location: Select the name of the location to compute the statistical metrics. This will become the B-Part of the DSS output pathname.
Parameter: Select the parameter of the timeseries. This will be included in the C-Part of the DSS output pathname. This should match the corresponding locations in the Lookback and Forecast Periods.
TimeStep: Select the timestep of the timeseries. This will be the E-Part of the DSS output pathname and should match the corresponding locations in the Lookback and Forecast Periods.
Lookback: From the dropdown list, select the record to use in the Lookback Period of the Ensemble Member with Closest Volume to Metric Compute.
The Lookback record can be left "null" in the following two cases:
- The Ensemble Member with Closest Volume to Metric Compute is not selected.
- The Ensemble time series collection record selected in the Forecast Period covers the entire Time Window of the Forecast (from start of Lookback Period to the end of Forecast). This could occur when the Forecast Period record is linked in the Model Linking Editor to another application that generates ensemble time series collections, or when the Forecast Period record is linked to Extract.
Forecast: From the dropdown list, select the ensemble time series record to use to calculate metrics at the specified location.
