This section of the manual describes how you use CWMS once you’ve configured your watershed. Here, we describe the typical workflow involved in the routine use of CWMS to support the water management process. Routine use of CWMS, including running the models and analyzing results, helps you to be ready to run your CWMS model when an extreme event occurs.
At this point, you’ve already configured your watershed and are ready for the routine tasks of managing incoming data; running the forecast models; viewing and analyzing results; revising model data, as needed; and, posting results to the CWMS database to prepare for the next forecast.
