The Water Management Toolbox is a plugin designed to provide water managers with regulatory situational awareness within HEC-RTS. By bridging operational data with regulatory frameworks, tools within the Toolbox will be developed to support everything from real-time crisis response to long-term infrastructure planning. Ongoing development efforts focus on capabilities designed to support:
Emergency Management: Provide real-time flood alerts and support response efforts.
Water Control Manual Updates: Validate and update Water Control Manuals.
Deviation Requests: Justify and document why normal operations must be adjusted.
Climate Adaptation: Test various scenarios against future climate conditions.
Planning & Safety: Explore and assess potential options for infrastructure improvements.
Executive Awareness: Support high-level facility status briefings for Headquarters and Divisions.
