HEC-RTS features graphical menus and tools organized by modules (i.e., tabs):
Acquisition - for collecting, monitoring, validating, and editing data.
Visualization- for viewing data.
Modeling - for running forecasts and reviewing results.
Setup- for configuring a watershed , including coordinate systems, map layers, program sequence, model alternatives, forecast runs, extracts, and posts.
This section provides an overview of the interface and its key capabilities.
Here are a few navigation tips:
Context-sensitive commands - The software hides commands that do not apply to the current module or selected element. If a command seems to be missing, verify that you've selected the correct module or element.
Directory tree navigation- The directory tree displays all elements configured in the watershed. When you add a new element, it will automatically appear in the tree.
Right-click access - Most commands related to a selected element can be accessed by right-clicking on that element.
