Team forecasting enables multiple modelers to collaboratively work on the same forecast. Each team member works from a local copy of the master watershed forecast. Changes uploaded to the master can be downloaded and modified by others. The Team tab is your central tool for managing team forecasts. It displays revision history, allows uploads/downloads, and lets you protect or compare data.
Forecast Tree
The Forecast Tree displays the forecast runs and model alternatives for the team forecast. Selecting a node updates the information shown in the Team tab.

Based on your selection, the following options may appear:
- Upload - Sends updates to the master watershed.
- Download - Retrieves updates from the master watershed.
- Protect - Prevents others from uploading changes.
- UnProtect - Re-enables uploading after protection.
- Diff... - Compares your local version with the master version.
If no forecast is open, only the Download button will be available.
Revision Pane
Located beneath the action buttons, the Revision Pane includes:
- Revision - Shows local and master revision numbers (e.g., 2 of 3).
- Updated On - Shows who made the last update and when.
- Status - Can be:
- Current - Matches master version.
- Out of Date - Master version is newer.
- Never Uploaded - Hasn't been uploaded yet.
- Comments - From the most recent update.
- History - Opens the full revision history.

Revision History Dialog
Accessible from the Team tab or Out of Date prompts, the Revision History dialog shows detailed version history.

The Revision Table is located the top of the Revision History dialog and it lists all changes, grouped by forecast and model alternative.

When a row is selected in the table, the Details panel displays selected revision information:
- Node - Indicates the data group where the revision occurred, typically organized by forecast run and model alternatives.
- Number - The unique revision number, assigned in the order revisions were made to the master watershed.
- Author - The username of the modeler who submitted the revision.
- Date - The date and time the revision was made, based on the computer settings of the modeler who performed the update.
- Type - Indicates what caused the revision change:
- Upload - Data uploaded to master.
- Download - Data downloaded to local.
- Protected/Unprotected - Status changes.
At the bottom of the Revision History dialog, you will find:
- Description - A brief note entered by the team member who made the revision.
- Files - A list of files that were modified as part of the selected revision in the Revision Table.
Click File Changes to see what files were modified between selected revisions.

Protecting Data
When you want to prevent others from uploading changes to specific forecast data, you can protect it. Setting the Protect flag restricts uploads to the master watershed for the selected data. However, team members can still download and edit the data locally. They just won’t be able to upload changes to the master watershed for any protected data groups.
