In the WQ Constituent Set Editor, navigate to the WQ Constituent Set menu and click New. This opens the Create New WQ Constituent Set dialog box.
In the Name field, enter a unique name for the new water quality constituent set. Optionally, enter a description in the Description box.
The Create New WQ Constituent Set dialog box will check if the entered name is unique (e.g., WQ_ConstituentSet1 in WQ Constituent Set Editor – New WQ Constituents Set). If the name already exists, a Duplicate Name message will appear, notifying you that the name must be changed.
If a Duplicate Name message appears, click OK to close the dialog. Change the name in the Name field and click OK to proceed. The newly created water quality constituent set will open in the WQ Constituent Set Editor (WQ Constituent Set Editor – New WQ Constituents Set)
For the newly created water quality constituent set (e.g., WQ_ConstituentSet1), the rows in the table within the WQ Constituent Set Editor can only be populated by selecting constituents through the WQ Constituent Selector dialog. Refer to Edit a WQ Constituent Setfor detailed instructions on adding and editing constituents.
If multiple WQ constituent sets are present in the editor, ensure to click Apply to save any changes before toggling between different sets. If you attempt to switch without saving, the Save Changes? dialog will prompt you to save your edits before navigating away.
