From the Geometry Editor (Figure 4.14), the Regions tab contains one column, the Default Region (Figure 4.34) column containing the list of HEC-ResSim reaches and reservoirs in the in the extent (listed in hydrologic order). By default, the entire geographic extent of a created geometry is contained within one region, the Default Region (Figure 4.34). Regions are used for grouping watershed elements that share the same water quality parameters. The table in the Regions tab cannot be edited from Geometry Editor (Figure 4.14). However, users can increase the number of regions in the geometry dataset (refer to Section 4.8.1) from the map window schematic. Modifying the number of regions and the list of elements in a region in the map schematic updates in the Regions tab in Geometry Editor (Figure 4.14).
