The Water QualityComputation Log File is available for troubleshooting purposes and allows the user to locate periods of instability in the simulation that occur in the hydrodynamics field. The file records the simulation options settings as well as detailed continuity error information for water volume and constituents. Each time step is listed along with the volume of both water and constituent mass at the start of each time step. In addition to system volume, total system inflow, outflow at external reaches, and lateral inflows are reported, along with the associated continuity error. The log file is accessed through the Reports menu in the Simulation module under the Water Quality menu option. Each computed Alternative will be listed as a submenu. Selecting the submenu Alternative name will display the Water QualityComputation Log File (Figure 211).
