A created meteorological dataset can be viewed in the HEC-ResSim map window schematic. To view a created meteorological dataset in the map window schematic, from the HEC-ResSim main window (Figure 3.1), from the module data, from the Met Dataset dropdown (Figure 3.1), select the dataset of interest (e.g., Met_Dataset1 selected in Figure 3.1). The selected met dataset displays in the map window schematic. Note, a meteorological dataset automatically displays in the map window when it is created (see Section 3.4) in the Meteorological Dataset Editor (Figure 3.29).
To edit an existing meteorological dataset, from the HEC-ResSim main window (Figure 3.1), from the Water Quality menu (Figure 3.2), click Meteorological Data. The Meteorological Dataset Editor (Figure 3.29) opens. From the Meteorological Dataset Editor (Figure 3.29), use the navigation bar (refer to Section 2.6.1) to select the met dataset of interest (e.g., Met_Dataset1 selected in Figure 3.29). Note: It is important to select the correct meteorological dataset when viewing, editing, copying, or deleting a dataset. Continue by editing the selected dataset (see Section 3.3.2 for modifying active stations, or refer to Section 3.5 for modifying input data for met variables). When finished editing a meteorological dataset, click OK (Figure 3.23) to save the entered data and close the Meteorological Dataset Editor (Figure 3.29).
