EFMSim offers options for reporting results via animations, spatial aggregations, and ecological aggregations, which allow for comparisons of alternatives in many ways and at many scales, as staged and requested by the user.  Spatial-temporal data can also be aggregated and output as time series.  Time series outputs are stored to DSS.  Desired DSS output are selected via the Simulation – Output interface (Figure), which has options for reporting at different spatial scales (whole system and region), different ecological scales (all, level, community, and community-class), different output types (project units, community units, area, count, density), and different measures (averages, maximums, and sums).  Road mortalities can also be for all roads and per road type for different spatial and ecological scales.

Figure.  Desired time series outputs are selected in the Simulation – Output interface.

EFMSim includes features that support time series viewing and interpretation, but also encourages users to use other software tools such as HEC-EFM and HEC-EFM Plotter and HEC-DSSVue to perform statistical analysis, visualize, and generally work with the time series outputs of EFMSim.
