HEC-FIA 3.3

Issue

DescriptionStatus
Agriculture grid projection issue

When importing an agriculture NASS CDL grid from https://croplandcros.scinet.usda.gov/ the .tif provided by the service has an incorrect projection.

Solution: This issue does not occur when NASS CDL grids are downloaded from:  https://nassgeodata.gmu.edu/CropScape/

Recommend using Cropscape instead of cropland for NASS CDL Download.

FUTURE VERSION

Error sampling depths from RAS HDF filesIn some cases FIA would fail to correctly sample the depth of inundation from RAS HDF output. This only impacted the HDF Holdout Inundation Configuration used for Flood Damages Reduced. This issue has been addressed in HEC-FIA 3.4 Beta 2 and using RAS HDF output from 6.4.1

RESOLVED

Terrain projection errorFor some terrains generated from ESRI, FIA cannot determine the projection, and continues to show the error multiple times in the console messages. As of FIA 3.4 Beta 2, FIA will provide a warning message in the console and will set the terrain projection to X-Y coordinates.

IMPROVED

ECAM Fails to ComputeCurrently ECAM compute results in a "Connection timed out" due to an issue with the ECAM webservice.

IN PROGRESS

Agriculture Price Index Factor does not impact crop damagesThe Agriculture Price Index Factor specified for each Emergency Planning Zone does not impact the crop damages calculated.
