Indirect Loss

In HEC-FIA, indirect loss is defined as the reduction in the income of and the labor pool for businesses due to infrastructure damage and life loss resulting from a flood event. This section describes how HEC-FIA computes indirect losses on a county-by-county basis. Specifically, describing the inputs required for the computations, the computational procedures, and the outputs produced from the computations
