The time zone of the input data maybe be overridden with the DSS and Non-DSS Data Selectors. The primary use for this option is to provide a Time Zone when the file/DSS record does not explicitly define a time zone. A secondary purpose is when the user believes that the Time Zone contained within the file is incorrect. To enable this option, check the box highlighted in the figure below, and click the "Greenwich Mean Time" button. This button will bring up the time zone selector below.

This acts as a filter for the time zone selections so that the choices in the Time Zone drop down selector contains only conforming choices.
