Open the HEC‐MetVue Program
Launch the HEC‐MetVue executable ("metvue.exe" with the blue raindrop icon
), which is available under the "bin" directory of the HEC-MetVue package.
Open HEC‐MetVue Project.
From the File menu, select Open Project File …
Browse to: ...\HEC-MetVue_DssDataReader\HEC-MetVue_DssDataReader_Start\
Select the project file "DssDataReaderWorkshop.metvue" and Press Open.
Create a New Map Window.
Right‐Click on the "Pearl-Part A" Session.
From the "Sessions and Maps" option, select Add Map Window.

Enter the name "LMRFC Precip" for the new Map Window in the dialog that pops up and press OK.
Zoom in to the Pearl River watershed in the states of Mississippi and Louisiana by expanding the LMRFC Precip map window, expanding the active mapping files and right-clicking on the "PearlMS.shp" shapefile and selecting "Zoom To This Map."
