Non-English language settings are not supported by HEC-RAS.  This may result in the error message that says "Error in Loading Geometry Data" in the Geometry Schematic.  This is most likely due to the geometry text file (the one that ends in .g##) becoming corrupted and the Geometry Schematic will be unable to open the geometry of a project.  If the computer language is not English, some boolean attributes in the geometry text file are written in the computer's language and not in English which HEC-RAS is expecting.  There is a work around to make the geometry function as before.  First make a backup of both the geometry text file ending in .g##, and the geometry hdf file, ending in .g##.hdf.   If HEC-RAS 6.x is open, close it.  Then delete the geometry text file.  Open HEC-RAS 6.x and navigate to RAS Mapper.  Open the geometry for editing, stop editing, and save the geometry.  Close HEC-RAS 6.x, and then reopen HEC-RAS 6.x.  Open the geometry in the Geometry Schematic and this problem should have gone away.
