Creating and Managing Fragility Curves Alternatives

To create a fragility curve alternative:

1. To Elicit the Create New Fragility Curve Alternative editor, right click on Fragility Curve under the Models node in the Study Tree of the HEC-WAT main window and click New. Alternatively, use the HEC-WAT main menu with the Edit option, select the Fragility Curve, and select New.
   
2. Provide a unique name for the Fragility Curve Alternative in the Name text box. Optionally, add a description in the Description box.
3. Click OK to create the alternative and elicit the Fragility Curve Editor.
4. The Fragility Curve Editor will display the information provided in the Create New Fragility Curve Alternative editor. To close the Fragility Curve Editor click OK.
5. The name of the fragility curve alternative will appear in the Content Pane of the HEC-WAT main window when the fragility curve element of the Models tree node is selected.

Fragility Curve Alternative Shortcut Menu

The individual fragility curve alternative shortcut menu allows the user to edit, save, create a copy of an existing fragility curve alternative, rename, and delete. To access the menu item select a Fragility Curve alternative from the Content Pane of the HEC-WAT main window and right click.

Edit

To edit an existing Fragility Curve Plugin alternative, select Edit from the shortcut menu. This action elicits the Fragility Curve Editor.

Save

From the shortcut menu click Save. The fragility curve data is saved.

Save As

From the shortcut menu click Save As to elicit the Save Fragility Curve As dialog.

The name of the fragility curve alternative which is being copied is displayed in the Old Name box. Enter a new unique name in the Name box, and provide an optional description in the Description box.
To Save As, click OK, the Save Fragility Curve As dialog closes and the name of the new fragility curve alternative appears in the Content Pane of the HEC-WAT main window.

Rename

To rename an existing Fragility Curve alternative, click Rename from the shortcut menu. This elicits the Rename Fragility Curve dialog.

The Name box displays the name of the fragility curve alternative to be renamed. Enter a new unique name in the Name box, and provide an optional description in the Description.
To rename, click OK, the Rename Fragility Curve dialog closes and the renamed fragility curve alternative appears in the Content Pane of the HEC-WAT main window.

Delete

To delete a Fragility Curve alternative, click Delete from the shortcut menu. A Confirm Delete dialog opens. Upon confirmation, the selected fragility curve alternative is deleted, and no longer displayed in the Content Pane of the HEC-WAT main window.
