NEW IN RESSIM 4.0
The edit panel for the Reverse Reservoir Yield analysis type is shown in "Figure: Yield Analysis Tab - Reverse Reservoir Yield View". The process for setting up a Reverse Reservoir Yield analysis proceeds from the top down in the edit panel.

  1. Select Reservoir Storage Level to Optimize—Select any reservoir that is a part of the alternative defined. Selecting a reservoir will populate the demand rule table with any rules that are associated with that reservoir.
  2. Edit Adjustment Options—this button shows the summary of adjustments selection as shown in  "Figure: Reverse Reservoir Yield – Edit Adjustment Options".
  3. Demand Rules—This table gets loaded with all the rules that are associated with the reservoir selected in step 1.
  4. Maximum Iterations—This is maximum number of iterations that the yield analysis may perform in its attempt to converge on a solution. The default value is 25.
  5. Convergence Method—This radio button provides the choice of either Bisection Search Only or Heuristic and Bisection Search. See the Reservoir Yield Analysis for a detailed description.

Edit Adjustment Options

The Edit Adjustment Options dialog is shown in  "Figure: Reverse Reservoir Yield – Edit Adjustment Options". The process for using the Edit Adjustment Options proceeds from the top down in the dialog.

  1. Adjustment Options—Adjust pool storage with two options:
    1. Adjust Top of Conservation Pool
    2. Adjust Bottom of Conservation Pool
  2. Seasonal Curve Adjustment strategy—There are two options available to adjust seasonal curve:
    1. Slide Pattern
    2. Proportionally Scale
  3. Exclude Period—If this check box is selected then the curves won’t be affected between the specified dates.
  4. Adjustment Limits—There are three types available to adjust the maximum and minimum limits of pool storage: Zone, Elevation (ft), and Storage (ac-ft).

    1. If Zone is selected as an adjustment type, then all zones will be available for a selection.

    2. If Elevation or Storage is selected as an adjustment type, then user can specify any specific elevation or storage value.

  5. Adjacent Zone Adjustments—There are two options available for adjacent zone adjustments:
    1. Collapse Zones
    2. Proportionally Scale
