Option 3 - Add New Program Order

Another option to incorporate HEC-MetVue into your watershed is to add a new Program Order in an existing watershed. 

Create a new Program Order

1. Within the Setup module, select the the Program Order option from the Models menu. 
   
   
   
2. The Program Order dialog will appear. Add a new Program Order by selecting New from the the Program menu.
   
   
   

3. From the New Program Order dialog, enter a Name and Description for your new Program Order. 
   
   
   

4. Click the Select Programs button.
   
   
   

5. From the Selection Editor dialog, select the programs you would like to use in your Program Order. Remember, the order of the programs matters. 
   
   
   

6. Click OK. On the New Program Order dialog, edit the order of the programs using the up and down buttons on the right. Click OK with you are done. The new Program Order will appear in the Program Order list.
   

If an HEC-MetVue Project has not already been created, You will need to create one by following the steps in Creating an HEC-MetVue Project, import the HEC-MetVue Alternative into the watershed, create your new Forecast Runs using the new Program Order, and set up the Model Linking.
