Training

CEIWR-HEC conducts training under the USACE-wide training program (Proponent-Sponsored Engineering Corps Training, (PROSPECT). Courses are typically one-week sessions at CEIWR-HEC covering technical subjects in hydrologic engineering, planning analysis, and water management and applications of CEIWR-HEC computer software. The instructors are all individuals knowledgeable in hydrologic and hydraulic practice, water resources planning, and water management. Most instructors are directly engaged with the development of the software packages, and support the software on USACE studies.

Registration Information:

PROSPECT is managed by the USACE Learning Center (ULC), in Huntsville, AL. The Program allows both public and private professionals to register for courses, although priority registration remains for USACE and federal employees. Applications from state, local, and private individuals typically go on a stand-by list until sixty days before the class.
