Figure: Diversion Editor - Routing Tab

The Diversion Editor's Routing tab ("Figure: Diversion Editor - Routing Tab") allows you to define the routing for the diversion channel. The Routing tab is only active for diversions that are connected to a downstream junction. The routing methods available to a diversion are the same as those available to a reach; they are: Null, Coefficient, Muskingum, Muskingum-Cunge 8-pt Channel, Muskingum-Cunge Prismatic Channel, Modified Puls, SSARR, and Variable Lag & K; each with its own set of parameters. If there is no lag or translation of the hydrograph through the diversion reach, you can select Null Routing (which is the default routing method).

The Routing tab of the Diversion Editor is identical to the Routing tab of the Reach Editor. For details about specifying the routing method on the Routing tab, refer to "Reach Editor: Routing Tab". Note that diversion routing can now vary based on the compute timestep. NEW IN RESSIM 4.0
