Minimal changes were made between ResSim 4.0 and 4.1, but a few known issues were addressed.  Others remain the same as the list for ResSim 4.0.  See the 4.0 Known Issues List.

ComputeUsers found that some downstream control operation required more iterations in 4.0 to provide results as good as v3.5.  This issue was addressed in v 4.1 by some small modifications to the compute.

getLookbackTimeSeries() does not work

The method getLookbackTimeSeries() does not work. The javadocs have been updated to offer better guidance, but the method has not been removed.

Workaround: Use getTimeSeries() instead.

WILL NOT FIX

Storage Credit is affecting zone storage values.
ComputeThe stor-zone previously did not correspond to elev-zone values when using the storage credit option. This issue has been addressed and now the reported zone storage is correctly taking the storage credit into account.

Global Variables Limitations

These issues were resolved in 4.1:

  • Tables Improper Date/Time Entry is no longer occurring.

  • Global Variables now completely copy when creating trials.
  • Expanded application of Global Variables, such that scalars can be used in IF statements and to define zones.
