The Hydrologic Engineering Center (CEIWR-HEC) exists to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Civil Works water resources responsibilities by increasing USACE technical capability in water resources engineering, planning, and management. CEIWR-HEC provides services to USACE and external collaborators in research, software development, training, and technical assistance, which reflects the state-of-the-art in hydrologic engineering and closely associated planning analysis. Major products are technical methods documents, computer software and user’s manuals, and technical assistance. The products are developed for USACE; however, the products are available to the public and in many cases have become an industry standard.
