Edit Plot Properties

Now that you have a plot open for the Calpella gage, you will change the look of the plot.

  1. Open the Plot Properties Editor by selecting Edit → Plot Properties… from the plot's menu bar (not the CAVI's menu bar).
  2. Select Viewport (1,1) from the drop-down menu at the top of the dialog.
  3. From the Curves tab, change the Flow curve to be a dotted red line.
  4. Using the same method, change the Stage curve to be a dashed dark green line.

What did you have to change to find the Stage curve?

The viewport selector had to be changed to Viewport (2, 1)

  5. Select the Legend tab and add a legend title. Click the OK button. Your plot should look similar to the following.
    Calpella Graph
  6. Close the plot.

  7. Open the plot again (right-click on the Calpella time series icon and choose Plot).

Did the plot retain its modifications? Why or why not?

No, because the Plot Properties Editor only affects the current plot. Once you close the plot, the changes are discarded.
